Storebot is equipped with six cameras dedicated to an autonomous stock photo acquisition, as well as precise localization system, providing:
– vision-based detection and localization of products;
– product recognition based on its appearance, context, text or RFID tags;
– detection of stock anomalies: absence, displacements, replacements;
– automated generation of anomaly report, integrated with your inventory system.

Mobile base

Storebot is built upon our own Autonomous Mobile Base, featuring a differential drive with Rocker-bogie mechanism as well as our most advanced localization and navigation algorithms.

Image capture system

  • High-resolution cameras dedicated to shelf scanning;
  • Wide-angle cameras for capturing panoramic views;
  • Flash system to adapt to all external lighting conditions.

Instant Analysis of Stock

Storebot scans each shelf in its entirety and creates an accurate 3D map of the current stock, detecting and recognizing each item. The system adapts to different types of stock, including:

  • products of various sizes and packaging
  • loose items in containers, boxes, bulk arrangements
  • tags with the entirety of their text content, using our cutting edge Text Recognition System

Inventory report and system integration

Storebot monitors the state of the stock and provides you with a detailed report, listing:

  • Items that are or about to be out of stock;
  • Misplaced or intrusive items;
  • Changes in the shelf layout;
  • Long-term stock and anomaly statistics.

Storebot is capable of interfacing with your Inventory Management System for more informed analysis and direct report registration.

Panoramic Views and Automated Topology

Storebot is equipped with four wide-angle cameras adapted for capture of panoramic views, providing:

  • accurate generation of panoramic views;
  • precise localization of each view with respect to the environment and other views;
  • automated annotation of the items on panoramas.
